Add DF1 (ghee, green chilly, curry leaves, cumin seeds, chopped garlic) to the pot and sauté for a few seconds.
Add DF2 (tomato onion masala) and sauté for 1 minute.
Pour in 300 ml water and add DF3 (dal, red chilly powder, turmeric, salt); boil for 3–4 minutes.
Garnish with DF4 (coriander) before serving.
